I have played millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you notice gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
