I have gambled on millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very fun at times. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a few years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a number of months ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can relinquish a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original $5 bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $10 wager
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80
Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial $160 bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
