I have bet on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or beat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a few years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this method! And a number of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager
Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 bet
Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
